Welcome to An Artist's Window - my website and window on life here in Greece. I’m an artist, cookbook author and walk leader living near Koroni, in the beautiful Southern Peloponnese.

My passion for Greece fuels my artwork – be it sketching in the back-streets of the village, or striving to express the essence of ‘Greekness’ in anything from line and wash to collage and mixed media. I enjoy running art workshops - sharing tips and techniques in the studio, as well as visiting my favourite sketching locations with others.

I’ve always loved all things Greek – especially Greek food, and recently published ”The Greek Taverna Cookbook – chefs Recipes from Kefalonia” which contains tons of my watercolour illustrations, as well as some rather excellent, tried and tested chefs recipes for creating authentic taverna food in your own kitchen.

I've been exploring the dirt tracks and donkey paths of Messinia for the past few years, leading long walks with winter residents with the help of Google Earth and a GPS. I also lead walks for summer visitors to Chrani, (and from other areas by arrangement) in May-June and September-October.

My recent artwork can be seen in the 'Art Gallery' section, whilst the blog features photos of work done by students on my workshops.
